Damage Policy

July 6, 2010

Effective immediately, Vader Party has been forced to enact a Damage Policy for Vader Party appearances. IF VADER PARTY SUITS OR PROPS ARE DAMAGED DUE TO EXCESSIVELY ROUGH PLAY, PARENTS WILL BE BILLED FOR REPARATIONS. This policy has been enacted after a lot of consideration--Darth Vader has gone through many battles, and of course some wear and tear is expected and understood. However, heavy damaged caused by a little too much excitement (in other words, cracking pieces off the suit) is something that can be avoided, and we want to make sure that Darth Vader can go to the next party in the same condition that he went to the last one. Please be aware that parents will not get billed for minor damage/wear and tear to the suit, nor will reparations be overly costly--it simply becomes costly when it happens frequently. This policy also is designed to prevent the necessity of raising prices.

An easy way to avoid this is to introduce a single, easy-to-follow rule: DO NOT STRIKE DARTH VADER IN THE HEAD. The rest of the armour is solidly built and is able to endure a heavier beating, however the helmet is more fragile, and is more susceptible to damage.

Vader Party and Justin Foley Entertainment thanks you for your anticipated cooperation.
